Project Overview Traffic Transportation & Parking Improvements

This project consists of installing dual left turn lanes on North Dean Road at its intersection with East University Drive to accommodate westbound and eastbound turn movements. Removal of the existing traffic signal and installation of a new 4-pole/mast arm signal is also included in this project. The roadways will be resurfaced entirely within the construction limits. ​ The project is part of the City of Auburn's Comprehensive City-Wide Traffic Study.

The project was completed on May 2, 2025 with a total capital budget of $1,840,956.66.
