Welcome to the City of Auburn’s Procurement page where interested vendors may gather information about the City’s solicitation opportunities and contract awards. The City of Auburn strives to ensure that all goods and services are procured through a fair, open, and competitive process designed to represent maximum value to Auburn taxpayers while building strong vendor relationships.

The City of Auburn adheres to the  guidelines set forth in the Code of Alabama, 1975 and the City of Auburn Purchasing Policy and Procedures manual for the procurement of goods and services.

Vendor Registration

We're updating our online bid notification system to better communicate with those interested in bidding on City projects. To receive notifications, all bidders must register in our Vendor Self Service (VSS) system. Those already registered in VSS will need to add their NIGP commodity codes. Previously entered codes were removed from all vendor records in VSS during the system update. Please note, NIGP commodity codes are required for vendors to receive notifications.
