Annalue Drive & East University Drive Intersection Improvements

This project will bring traffic flow and safety improvements to East University Drive at its intersections with Annalue Drive and Saugahatchee Road. Improvements include the addition of northbound and southbound left turn lanes on East University and new signal poles at the Annalue intersection. A median island will be constructed along East University at the intersection of Saugahatchee Road, creating an intersection that only allows right-in/right-out turns. The portion of Saugahatchee Road stretching from East University to Annalue will be removed to increase safety for travelers of this area.​ The project is part of the City of Auburn's Comprehensive City-Wide Traffic Study.

The project was completed on Apr 19, 2024 with a total capital budget of $1,189,394.65.
