Are you a college student in Auburn? The City of Auburn's Economic Development team has opportunities throughout the year to help get you started on your career right here in Auburn.

Anchor Auburn

Anchor Auburn is a FREE enrichment opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students at Auburn University and Southern Union State Community College. During the 2026 spring semester, up to 30 students will enjoy five sessions where they’ll network, serve, connect and grow as they also learn what it’s like to live and work in Auburn, Alabama.

Want to Apply? Information to Consider:

  1. Students must have completed 30+ credit hours prior to Dec. 31, 2025.
  2. Participants must attend at least four of the five sessions. Anchor Auburn will provide documentation for classes missed.

IMPORTANT DATES

Students must be willing to commit to attending at least four of the five sessions.

  • Session #1: January 16, 2026 (8 am – 4:30 pm)
  • Session #2: February 4-5, 2026 (11 am Wednesday– 3 pm Thursday– in Montgomery, AL with an overnight stay)
  • Session #3: February 17, 2026 (8 am – 3:30 pm)
  • Session #4: March 20, 2026 (8 am – 3 pm)
  • Session #5: April 2, 2026 (12:30 pm – 8 pm)
