My Neighborhood Matters Photo Contest

The City of Auburn is hosting a photo competition to celebrate its neighborhoods. We want to highlight the different ways our neighborhoods create community, celebrate culture and help their occupants live, work and play in Auburn.

Photos entered can depict people, buildings, activities, nature, or a combination. Tap into your creative side and find ways to represent your community visually. Along with your photo submission, you will be asked to provide a description of your submission.

By submitting an image, you acknowledge you have the rights to the photo and you agree to allowing the City of Auburn to use it in future marketing materials. Full terms are below.

PHOTO DEADLINE. Entries will be judged by the Auburn Arts Association.

Category

To participate you must be an Auburn resident, and photographs must be taken within the Auburn city limits. You may submit up to three photographs.

The photographer will retain the rights to his/her photographs; however, by entering the contest, you grant The City of Auburn (the City), and those authorized by the City, a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any City purpose. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. The City will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.

The photographer is responsible for obtaining the permission of any people, or in the case of minors the parent or guardian, to be photographed and must be prepared to provide a model release or proof of permission to the City upon request.

Note: Submitted photos might be used in future marketing materials. We will give full credit to the artist as feasible, but please leave off watermarks.
