2027 Bark in the Park Event Date: TBA!

Calling all dog lovers! Auburn Parks and Recreation invites you to this free community event celebrating responsible dog ownership and welcomes all dog lovers and their four-legged friends.

What to expect:

  • Educational booths and local pet vendors
  • Door prizes and dog-friendly activities
  • Rescue dogs available for adoption

Vendor Information:

Interested in being a vendor at Bark in the Park? Application date will be announced in the Fall 2026 brochure.

  • Potential vendors are invited to sell and promote their products and services specifically for dog owners.
  • Community organizations looking for volunteer and/or an opportunity to adopt out dogs in need of a forever home are encouraged to participate as well.
  • This is a curated event- applications are automatically waitlisted for review and submission of a vendor application does not guarantee approval.
  • Priority will be given to dog-related vendors.
  • Approved vendors will be contacted no later than two week prior to the event and will be required to pay fees once moved off the waitlist.
  • All vendors must bring their own tables, chairs, and tents if desired.
  • All vendors must donate a door-prize valuing a minimum of $25.

Tails and Trails Fun Run

As part of the event, Parks & Recreation hosts the Tails and Trails Fun Run 5k for you and your furry friends! Grab your running shoes and your running “pawtner” for a dog gone good time! The Tails and Trails 3K registration dates will be announced in the Fall 2026 Brochure.
