*After closely monitoring the weather, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the 32nd Annual Fishing Rodeo. All participants will receive a full refund.

Yesterday we said the fish don’t mind a little rain… but this isn’t “a little” anymore, and even they would call this forecast a bit much.

The good news? The fish should be nice and big for next year — so save the date: May 15, 2027 — and plan to register and attend!

Cast into summer with the 32nd Annual Fishing Rodeo sponsored by Evans Realty! Join us at the lake at Auburn Technology Park South on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.

The first 175 children registered will receive a FREE rod and reel courtesy of Evans Realty and Auburn Parks and Recreation will supply the bait.

The cost is $5 per child. Registration will open Wednesday, April 1st for Auburn residents. Anyone outside of Auburn can begin registering Monday, April 13, 2026. Every participant must be pre-registered there will be no registration taken day of event. However, you can make a customer account prior to the registration date HERE.

Door prizes will be given out to lucky participants and prizes will be awarded to the biggest fish caught in each age category. We will also give out an award for the most fish caught overall. This event is a great chance to bring kids and their parents together with America's favorite pastime...FISHING!

There is a limit of five fish per child and parents must stay with their child at all times.
