Save the date for the 15th Annual Polar Plunge on Saturday, January 23rd, 2027! Recruit sponsors to support you as you take the plunge in support of Lee County Special Olympics. Individual and group costumes are encouraged! This event is presented by Auburn Parks and Recreation and Lee County Special Olympics. Proceeds benefit Lee County Special Olympics. Pre-registration on MyRec is required. Registration will be available beginning Monday, December 7th, 2026 at 8 a.m. CST.

If you are a business and interested in sponsorship please email Elizabeth at ekaufman@auburnal.gov for the sponsorship information/form.

For individual and corporate donations, donors can write a check (made out to Lee County Special Olympics) or pay cash. These donations can be dropped off to Dean Road Recreation Center, 307 South Dean Road,  Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
